Thanks! But they are do rendered, but rendered with ambient occlusion only, in Maya; my 3ds Max models like Venice are not finished yet, they are well in progress.. I think my Venice renders are the closest to "final renders". I plan to make more renders but the school and my work takes a lot of time, but I am definitely going to upload more images time to time.
Yeah, I know AO and such... you know what I mean when I ask about rendered, yes, final and finished material render. But it's not a problem, I just wonder. Even perhaps you'd be better at modeling when you focus on it alone... long time ago, when I started to join 3D I usually distracted myself from modeling process by rendering, setup, materials... you're focus, I think it's nice , I didn't mean any bad idea about that (sorry if I made you think so).
Hmm, now I see what you mean your previous question about render, well I worked with Maya about 5 years as a hobby, and in that software I was unable to make nice textures, simply I couldn't learn it... And You are absolutely right that my main focus is modelling, technical modelling. I missed the textures myself, but well in Maya... Anyway, nowadays I really want to be a better 3D artist, I attend to this kind of school, and I practice a lot and I changed to 3ds max. Modelling and texturing there is much much better, I really like it! I just started, but I think in time I will be better I hope!
Anyway I am absolutely not angry or anything It was just a simple misunderstanding.
And thanks for your appreciation about modelling (And your renderings are amazing, really! Keep up the good work.)
